A quick look back at 2012............A great success!

76 animals found loving new homes and 76 families chose to adopt a N.A.L.A animal and  found loving and devoted animal companions !
This was made possible by the loving care and open hearted generosity of our foster families who do such a wonderful job of looking after kittens and cats prior to rehoming and by a fun and successful year of fundraising including coffee mornings, tea parties, lunch parties, strawberries and Pimms afternoons, vide Greniers, Christmas quiz, plant fairs, cream teas and much more  – so grateful thanks to everyone for their generosity, opening their homes for events, giving precious time, baking, donating money or items, quizing, distributing quiz papers, planting seeds, raising plants, donating prizes, circulating emails, posting posters and supporting us in all the other ways ..... you all have made such a great difference---------

So we are into a new year of fundraising and lots more animals to care for, so you are invited to come along Sunday the 12th of May and have a great afternoon – all the proceeds are going  to help care for and rehome our animals ------- at the

Bring and Buy Plant Sale and  Cream Teas.

There will be delicious cakes and scones with jam and clotted cream to tempt you  , books , gifts, a tombola and of course a varied selection of plants to choose from ................. Don’t forget to bring along your surplus seeds , cuttings and plants and you can  go home with many more that are just what you need as it will be  just the right time to be planting .

Cherry Burton, an award winning freelance landscape gardener , who recently moved to  the Vendee  to live  , will be helping with the plant stall and will be on hand to answer any gardening /plant queries you may have. She will be offering a free  hours  consultation to the winner of a gardening  quiz she is preparing - so get swotting up on your gardening knowledge.
